2025 in Review: Standout Projects, Industry Insights & Growth | Total Fitouts

As 2025 draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to celebrate a year full of creativity, growth, and transformation across our network. From cafés and coffee roasteries to medical clinics, offices, salons, and restaurants — our teams have been busy turning blank canvases into bespoke, functional, and beautiful spaces.

This year was not just about building; it was about collaboration, innovation, and community. We strengthened relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners, explored new design trends, and hosted our unforgettable annual conference in Noosa — a highlight that brought our national network together to celebrate our achievements and look ahead to 2026.

Below, we share some of our standout 2025 projects, highlight our most popular blog posts, and reflect on the Noosa conference — showcasing why Total Fitouts continues to set the standard in commercial fitouts across Australia and New Zealand.

Which Projects Defined 2025?

Ray White Malan + Co – Gold Coast Central

Our Gold Coast Central team reimagined a traditional office tenancy into a high-end, design-forward workspace. Featuring minimalist elegance, soft textures, sculptural architecture, sweeping arches, and a custom reception counter, the office balances professionalism with warmth. Carefully curated lighting enhances the space’s modern aesthetic while ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.

O Bagel — Gold Coast Central

O Bagel’s vibrant new space reflects the brand’s playful identity while remaining highly functional. Bright colour accents, custom joinery, and clever space planning transform a compact footprint into an inviting, open environment. Feature walls, stylish seating zones, and efficient workflow layouts ensure a seamless café experience.

Ozin — Adelaide Central

Ozin’s new restaurant space combines modern dining aesthetics with functional kitchen and service areas. Custom timber joinery, feature lighting, and a cohesive colour palette create a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for guests, while practical design ensures smooth workflow for staff. The space balances contemporary elegance with warmth, making it perfect for casual and special dining experiences.

VIDA — Sunshine Coast South

VIDA wanted a lively, Mexican-themed hospitality fitout designed to immerse diners in the brand’s culture and culinary experience. Vibrant colours, textured finishes, and decorative joinery create energy and personality, while open seating arrangements and well-planned service zones enhance customer flow and comfort. Accent lighting, natural materials, and authentic design details bring the restaurant to life.

Future Face Clinic — Gold Coast Central

Future Face Clinic’s space balances clinical precision with luxury. Soft colour palettes, warm LED lighting, and tailored joinery combine to create a premium yet approachable environment for clients. Special features include private consultation rooms, welcoming reception areas, and strategically designed circulation zones to optimise patient flow.

Good Day Cafe — Sunshine Coast South

Located in Currimundi on the Sunshine Coast, this compact kiosk was transformed into a bright, cheerful café bursting with personality. Retro-inspired finishes, high-gloss yellow tiles, clean white countertops, and curved architectural features create a memorable customer experience while optimising efficiency for staff.

Dolly’s Acai, Rose Bay — Surry Hills & Parramatta

Dolly’s Acai received a fresh, modern fitout emphasising health, vibrancy, and coastal lifestyle. Natural timber joinery, colourful branding elements, and an intuitive counter layout make the café inviting and highly functional. Thoughtful lighting highlights key product areas while creating a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Natural Grace — Newcastle

Natural Grace’s wellness-focused space features neutral tones, soft textures, and natural materials to create a calming, restorative environment. The design balances aesthetics with practicality, ensuring smooth staff workflow and a comfortable experience for visitors.

Arbour — Brisbane Inner South

Arbour’s design showcases layered greens, timber shelving, rich tilework, and warm pendant lighting. Durable finishes and bespoke features like wine racks and ribbed glass details combine elegance with functionality, resulting in a hospitality space that is both inviting and sophisticated.

Bringing the Community Together — 2025 Conference in Noosa

One of the highlights of 2025 was the Total Fitouts International Conference in Noosa, Queensland. Over three days, franchise partners, teams, and suppliers gathered to learn, connect, and celebrate.

Day One — A Warm and Playful Welcome

Our partners arrived at 1:30 PM to check-in and receive their itineraries. The evening’s highlight was a themed “pirate night” aboard the scenic Noosa Catalina, offering stunning river views, laughter, and opportunities to reconnect. Special thanks to About Space Lighting for sponsoring this unforgettable welcome.

Day Two — Inspiration, Learning, and Celebration

Hosted by MC Joel Ozborn, the day featured presentations by industry leaders including Billy Moore, Anthony Laye, Xavier Rousset, and Michael Peterson. Topics included emerging design trends, operational best practices, and strategies for 2026.

The “Supplier Showdown” saw eight key suppliers — About Space Lighting, Silverchef, Remer Mirrors Australia, Panellam, Stiebel Eltron Australia, OLG Office, Mission Technology Solutions, and Benjamin & Benjamin Insurance Group — showcase innovations that support our network’s growth. Interactive sessions and light-hearted challenges ensured the day balanced learning with fun and engagement.

Day Three — Team Building and Celebration

Day three began with an “Amazing Race”-style team challenge, energising participants and fostering collaboration. Later, attendees enjoyed lunch in the scenic Doonan hinterland, followed by a round of Par 3 golf at Noosa Hills Golf Course. The conference concluded with a farewell event at El Capita Noosa, celebrating achievements and strengthening connections for 2026.

Overall, the conference reminded us that Total Fitouts is about people as much as spaces — community, collaboration, and shared success are at the heart of what we do.
