Interior Fitout Awards 2020–2022 finalists

Every 18 months, Australia’s best, most innovative shopfitters get the opportunity to duke it out on the industry stage at the Interior Fitout Awards. Shopfitters across Australia show off their greatest labours of love in the office, retail and hospitality sectors.

This year, one of our Total Fitout businesses has made it into the finalist mix for not just one but two categories! The Total Fitouts team will be attending the IFA’s  Gala  dinner in September, anxiously awaiting the announcement of this year’s IFA winners.

Our franchisee gunning for Best Interior Fitout award in both the Office and Health & Beauty categories is Mark Nashaty from Total Fitouts Sunshine Coast North

Both projects are examples of stellar craftsmanship, design and artistry – let us walk you through.

Kaizen Marketing
 – ‘Office’ IFA finalist

An urban-edgy, minimalist space with a strike of raw concrete and brutalist design – Kaizen Marketing’s physical embodiment is energetic, honest and captivating. With a bold entropy of colour featured in the wall-to-wall original graffiti work, this sleek fitout collaboration pulls together cool and warm tones – a balanced concoction of cool colours, raw textures and warm lighting.

Designed to steal the show, the graffiti artwork was conceptualised by the owner herself and brought to life by a local artist. The office layout captures the feature wall in new ways as you move through the space – from the moment you walk in and see it through glass panels, to viewing it up close in a gallery-like fashion. The feature wall is strong brand element and truly telling of company’s out-of-the-box thinking and energetic spark.

Offices go beyond aesthetics though, functionality has a big role to play. Total Fitouts Sunshine Coast North worked to incorporate seamless functionality at every step to make sure no compromises were made to the brand aesthetics or tone of the space.

The functional elements of soundproofing the boardroom for confidential meetings and ensuring the polished concrete office isn’t echoing or loud was also exceptional work from the Total Fitouts team.” – Bodene, Kaizen Marketing

The Heart of Beauty – ‘Health & Beauty’ IFA finalist

Touched with Moroccan influences throughout, The Heart of Beauty draws you in through its arched doorways to a place of calm and quiet.

A natural fitout from start to finish, this fitout plays on neutral earthy tones, soft timbers and rattan finishes. Soft curves run throughout this space, unwavering – from curved timber doors to curved product displays and smoothly rendered curved walls by Turnbull Render and Paint. Both the feature walls in the reception and arched display cabinets are done in a ‘polished plaster‘ – a popular choice for a soft render finish. Custom joinery was tenderly pieced together by Resident Hero in Noosa.

In collaboration with NC Interiors’ designs and other trusted trades, Total Fitouts Sunshine Coast North successfully created an artful transition to bring people from a loud, bustling world outside into one of simple calm inside, delivering on high quality, unique finishes and craftsmanship.
