This luxurious, indulgent wellness and beauty fitout Blondee Salon, located in the heart of Brisbane’s Newstead locale, was stylishly breathed to life by the Total Fitouts Brisbane Inner South team.
The speciality pampering salon, Blondee Salon, is famous for its perfect blonde or balayage experience, wanted to expand the existing space to incorporate a luxurious, yet functional, workspace for clients to work whilst they wait.
The expert shopfit team were tasked with interpreting the client’s plans and vision to refresh the existing salon and transform the old back building, which used to be a commercial laundry, into a high-end, elegant wellness & beauty fitout.
The extra challenge for the team was the tight timeframe. The director of the Brisbane Inner South team says, “The client didn’t want the extensive fitout to interrupt the business’s busy workflow. They desired the end result in only 4 days. So careful planning, night work, time management, coordinating local trades and timely procurement of fixtures and fittings were essential.”
The client’s vision for the extension and commercial fitout project was to create a relaxed, lux space, where customers can unwind whilst pampering themselves. The existing salon was refreshed with revamped kitchen, bathrooms, and wash area. The mood throughout was enhanced with the addition of beautiful sheer curtains, arched mirrors, feature disc ball wall lights and flattering ample LEDs. The addition of an on-trend art terrazzo feature arch splashback behind the wash basins completed the transformation whilst cementing the connection between the existing and new space.
The Total Fitouts Brisbane Inner South team expertly delivered custom timber joinery and reel veneer timber finishes. The wooden features complemented the blush, powder-puffed, colour scheme. Smooth polished rendered walls, marble venetian finishes, leather seating and arched doorways completed the transformation. The result is a luxurious, elegant commercial wellness & beauty fitout.
