A therapeutic environment is not only a physical space, but a psychological, social and cultural one. Therefore shopfitters play an important role within healthcare by building safe environments for wellbeing and healing. The shop fitting team, fitout by Total Fitouts Broadbeach, were briefed on the office fitout requirements and completed research of industry trends around the correlation of office fitouts and wellbeing for the design and build of a new head office for The Shrink Academy.
The shop fitting team created a beautiful office space promoting independence and privacy, whilst also taking into account current requirements of social distancing. Eight individual office rooms, a boardroom and a staff kitchen surrounding an expressive, light fluted meeting island. Inspired by bird cages this special conference area also functions as the reception desk.
Furthermore, warm, earthy and bright colours let employees and clients feel comfortable and safe. A great balance of glass, caesar stone surfaces and timber patterns evoke the company’s branding and leave a positive impact to both staff and clients.
