Residing in country Victoria’s magical town of Woodend, the compact Woodend Fruit Market underwent a complete renovation and retail fitout that gave the store a new and exciting burst of life. The Total Fitouts Malvern team was approached to do the retail fitout, and nailed all of the client’s requirements.
The owner of over 30 years utilised a Total Fitouts Custom Concept that included a low-maintenance design, a modern colour palette that befits a bustling small country town, custom joinery, and catered for an increased display area and volume of inventory.
Careful attention was paid to selecting finishes for durability and maintenance, including an exposed aggregate polished concrete floor and two service counters wrapped in timber cladding. Lighting placement was paramount and installing a new sash-less double-hung server window and auto-door to the shopfront gives the store a modern country feel.
The Total Fitouts Malvern team coordinated long lead-time items and the installation/integration of new custom refrigeration. Due to being in an old building, they also managed site and service locations issues.
