The goal for this sizeable space was to totally encapsulate the creative vision of the owners’ existing bar, with a hospitality fit out designed for the cycling, beer & foodie enthusiasts of Christchurch! This restaurant fit out was substantial in all elements and required some co-ordination with other teams as well as the installation of very specific fixtures & materials.
Our talented fit out team wanted to achieve a space with easy flow and good family functionality for the restaurant, while keeping the theme totally authentic & unique throughout; a task they exceeded at. The main obstacles that faced the Total Fitouts team was the very short time frame (eight weeks), working around client supplied contractors as well as materials & fixtures requiring outsourcing, delivered and fitted all within the very tight schedule and some, after opening.
Alas, our fit out team worked wonders with this bar/ restaurant shop fit, with all the ‘steez’ an inner-city restaurant should have, complete with American Oak flooring, outsourced ceiling baffles and specially made bike rim chandelier fixtures.
