Oakberry Haymarket

Total Fitouts Surry Hills and Parramatta undertook the transformation of a vacant tenancy into a dynamic, vibrant space with a contemporary ambience. The project’s focus was Oakberry Haymarket, a global healthy fast food chain with a presence in over 35 countries and more than 600 stores, known for delivering tasty, natural, and nutritious acai products.

The project encompassed various areas within the Oakberry Haymarket establishment, including the main entrance, service area, dining space, and amenities. The interior design of Oakberry Haymarket seamlessly integrated a spectrum of colours, wooden tones, and black accents to create a lively, vibrant representation of the brand while maintaining a sleek modern appearance. The entire design concept was meticulously executed by Total Fitouts Surry Hills and Parramatta’s in-house design team.

The front section of the commercial hospitality fitout was thoughtfully designed to create an inviting and accessible entryway for customers. To enhance the store’s visibility and ease of location, a combination of LED signage and custom black signage was placed both at the top and bottom of the entryway. A distinctive hanging sign was also installed to guide customers to the store effortlessly.

Upon entering, the serving area immediately captivated attention. The Total Fitouts Surry Hills and Parramatta team created wooden VJ panelling that adorned the entire serving space, complemented by black accents and signage to create a visually striking contrast. Ample and strategically positioned lighting fixtures, including hanging circular lights, illuminated the space, enhancing its brightness and overall appeal. To maintain hygiene and provide transparency in the food preparation area, glass framing was used, with the remaining countertop featuring an exquisite white marble benchtop. Multiple television screens were strategically mounted above the countertop, serving both as a means of Oakberry branding and as a convenient method for displaying menus.

Behind the counters, white cabinetry was installed, along with black benchtops optimized for food preparation. Wooden shelving units adorned with plants and merchandise not only served as functional storage but also contributed to the vibrancy of the space. Stone tiling was chosen for the flooring to ensure durability and easy maintenance, ideal for accommodating foot traffic while retaining the aesthetic appeal of the space.

In the dining area, a striking and large custom-painted mural adorned the entire back wall, extending the Oakberry store franchise theme and adding to the vibrant atmosphere. To maintain design continuity and echo the brand’s colours, black tables were paired with wooden chairs and benches, creating a cohesive and visually appealing space for customers to dine and enjoy their Oakberry experience.

The Oakberry Haymarket project by Total Fitouts Surry Hills and Parramatta successfully combined a dynamic and visually appealing interior design with the functional requirements of a fast-food establishment.
